Kora Organics Purifying Moisturizer Review

          Picture from Koraorganics.com

So I have tried Kora Organics, which is the skin care brand by Miranda Kerr.

The product that I'm reviewing today is the Purifying Moisturizer, which is is suitable for oily/combination skin type.

The main ingredients of this product includes the certified Organic Lemon, Green Tea and Pomegranate Extracts combine with Aloe Vera. The Moisturizer also contain Sodium Hyaluronate, which is a natural Hyaluronic Acid, it acts as a sponge by drawing water from the atmosphere to achieve hydrated and smoother skin.

The smell of this product is just like the cleanser of the same brand, both have this unique scent that isn't overpowering.

The product is priced at pretty high price point at $48.00 and it comes with a total of 1.69oz (50ml) of product.

First this I notice after about 20 days into this product is, the Moisturizer goes FAST!
The moisturizer is designed with a pump head as shown in the picture below:

The amount that I used each time is around 2 to 3 pump, twice a day on both my face and neck (taking care of your neck is important too!). I will usually mix a pump of my Organic Jojoba oil into my moisturizer as to my skin has been pretty dry lately due to the weather.

And below is a comparison of my current Kora Organics Purifying Moisturizer (On the left) and a BRAND NEW Kora Organics Purifying Moisturizer( on the right) (and yes, I bought a couple, hehe). I placed them against the light so the content of the product can be seen.

As you can see, after almost 20 days into using this moisturizer, about 60% of the product is GONE - that is more than half! Which was surprisingly fast.

And here is a side view of the same comparison:

At this rate I think 1 tube of the Moisturizer will be good for about 1 month to 1 and a half month or so (an estimate).

I think the main reason is the texture of the product, its a very light weight Moisturizer, and thus it makes me apply more product than usual, and I apply it on both my face AND my neck, which could be a main contributor to this.

After using this product for about 20 days, although I didn't feel that my skin is significantly better in a "WOW" way, however, the product is no doubt a high quality product, which contains good ingredients and it helps my skin stay hydrated for a long period of time, tho I will still need facial mist in the middle of the day to add additional hydration. The smell of the product is good and kind of relaxing. The ingredient of this product all organics and thus making me feel more "healthy" emotionally when I'm applying it onto my skin. But at this price point ($48.00) I believe there are still a better or similiar product out there at a lower and more affordable price point.

I would give this Moisturizer a 3 out of 5. As it has good ingredient and performs pretty okay, however it's no doubt that this product is over priced and it goes way too fast, I have tried several drug store Moisturizer that has similar performance and at a way lower price.

All in all, if your wallet allows you to, this is definitely a great Moisturizer given the organics ingredient which is SUPERB! However, performance wise it isn't at the "WOW" level for me. There are the pros and cons listed in my post, and that's based purely on my personal experience with this product. It might perform well on me but it might be a nightmare to you, or it could be your skin savior! Please take the post as an opinion to aid you in your skin care selection and don't forget love yourself everyday! 😘❤️

Thanks for reading! 💜
